AIZAWL, Nov 6 - With the detection of 32 more cases of the novel coronavirus during the last 24 hours, the COVID-19 tally of Mizoram today reached 2,990. An official release stated that the new cases have been detected after testing of 1,408 samples at the Zoram Medical College RT-PCR laboratory and the TrueNat laboratories in district hospitals and through rapid antigen tests at different places in the State.
According to the official release, none of the new patients has any travel history.
Mizoram now has 515 active cases, while 2,473 people have recovered from the disease till date. The State has so far recorded two fatalities.
