GAURIPUR, Sept 2 - Altogether, 32 teachers from primary schools to higher secondary level will be felicitated on Teachers� Day, which coincides with the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on September 5 next in recognition of their outstanding services.
The felicitation meeting is scheduled to be chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of Dhubri-cum-chairman of the district celebration committee.
After paying tributes to the former President of India Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by the dignitaries, the felicitation meeting will be addressed by a large number of invited speakers.
A souvenir titled Abhinandan edited by Zakir Hussain will also be released on the occasion. The felicitation ceremony will be held in the auditorium of Dhubri District Library and the meeting is expected to be attended by the heads of the institutions of the district, besides leading citizens of the district.
