30 PMAY beneficiaries get recommendation letters

RANGIYA, Oct 3 - As a part of the first phase, a total of 30 selected beneficiaries under 10 different wards of Rangiya Municipal Board were presented PMAY beneficiary award letters by local MLA and Minister of State for Irrigation, Revenue (independent charge) Bhabesh Kalita at a ceremonial function held here recently.

The Minister in his inaugural speech highlighted the benefits of the scheme along with other welfare schemes that were adopted by the BJP Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Centre. The Minister appealed to all not to pay bribe or approach any broker, official or staff in the name of getting benefits under the PMAY scheme as everything was clear and transparent.

SDO (Civil) Munindra Bordoloi, Government officials under PMAY, ward commissioner Dwipen Chakrabarty, and chairman Sima Baishya of the civic body were also present on the occasion.

It may be mentioned here that more than 600 beneficiaries were enlisted under the scheme at Rangiya.
