DIMAPUR, Feb 25 - Kohima Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Soundararajan has informed that altogether 30 offices had been damaged during the mob violence on February 2.
The DC informed this at the coordination meeting with all the heads of offices under Kohima district on Friday, an official release said today.
The meeting was held to discuss on the offices damaged/affected and also to make arrangements for the affected offices to function temporarily in other district offices and sister departments where spare rooms would be available.
Terming the February 2 incident as unfortunate, the DC lamented that it was a big loss not only for the affected offices but for the State as well, as the hard work of the entire offices have been destroyed. Additional DC Lithrongla Tongpi informed that some office items have been recovered by Kohima Village Youth Organisation and are being kept under the custody of the Dobashis at DC�s Court.
Meanwhile, Nagaland Chief Minister Dr Sh�rhozelie Liezietsu on Friday allocated the portfolios of Ministers, advisers, Parliamentary Secretaries and chairmen.
