AIZAWL, Oct 21 - With 30 more people, including an eight-month-old baby, testing positive for the novel coronavirus during the last 24 hours, Mizoram�s virus count today reached 2,310.
An official release stated that 10 samples were confirmed positive at the Zoram Medical College RT-PCR laboratory here. As many as 14 virus cases were detected at the TrueNat laboratories of district hospitals, while the rapid antigen tests yielded six new cases.
Among the fresh cases, 15 were reported from Aizawl, eight from Serchhip, five from Lunglei and two from Hnahthial district. The 30 new patients include nine children and five BSF personnel.
Mizoram now has 145 active cases, while 2,165 patients have already recovered from the disease so far.
