JORHAT, June 15 - Forty-one persons tested positive for Covid-19 today as results of the tests done at JMCH came out.
Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Roshni A Korati informed that out of the 41 persons who were found positive, 30 were defence personnel and they were shifted to the IAF Hospital at Rowriah here while the others were shifted to JMCH.
She said that total number of positive cases of Jorhat was 92, which included 38 defence personnel. Korati stated that number of active cases in Jorhat at present was 56, among which 20 were undergoing treatment at JMCH and 36 at the IAF Hospital here.
Korati said that 27 Covid-19 patients, who have recovered, were discharged from JMCH today thereby taking the total number of recovered patients from JMCH to 145, which included cases from neighbouring districts.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that total number of positive patients admitted at JMCH till date was 176, which included patients from adjoining districts, while the number of active cases in JMCH at present is 31, including patients of adjoining districts.
