SILCHAR, July 19 - Cachar Police launched a joint operation at Rangmaijan area in Jirighat along the Assam-Manipur border under Cachar district and arrested three ultras of ZUF (Kamson) faction. Also, one person who gave shelter to the ultras was also apprehended.
A huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from them, police said.
�Based on prior information, we laid an ambush and nabbed the terrorists who have been identified as Haisuive Pame (26) alias Ashui, Agaung Jeme (26) and Azeu Pame (33),� a senior police official said while sharing information with this correspondent.
