ITANAGAR, Aug 29 - Security forces apprehended three hardcore ULFA(I) cadres from a village in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday, a defence spokesman said today.
�As part of the ongoing crackdown by security forces to curb anti-social activities, three hardcore cadres of ULFA(I) were apprehended near Noglo in Tirap district on August 28,� Defence PRO Lt Col P Khongsai said.
Based on specific intelligence about presence of suspected militants in the area, the security forces launched an operation and apprehended them.
The troops recovered three pistols, three magazines with three live rounds of ammunition and three badges of ULFA(I) from their possession.
