MIRZA, Aug 7 � Three students � Avinash Saloi, Pallab Kalita and Kushal Shaud � drowned when they went to take bath along with two others at Balapukhuri ghat of Kulshi river, two kilometres from Chhaygaon today.
While Avinash Saloi died soon after local people rescued them in critical condition, Pallab and Kushal died later at an Azara-based nursing home.
It may be mentioned that Avinash Saloi was an automobile engineering student and Pallab and Kushal were both BA first year students of Chhaygaon College.
