GUWAHATI, Oct 4 - Deepak Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Guwahati, today felicitated Apurba Roy, Afajur Ali and Dibakar Deka of Garchuk Police Station (all are of PAPA 26 patrolling vehicle) for their courage, intelligence and devotion to duty due to which an ATM breaker named Arif (21) from Haryana could be apprehended with ATM cutting instruments and gas-cutter while he was attempting to cut an ATM full of cash at Sawkuchi early September 29 morning.
Their timely action resulted in the detention of an inter-state criminal who was involved in several such cases, an official release said.
