AIZAWL, Aug 5 - Mizoram today reported three new cases of COVID-19, taking the State�s caseload to 504. Of the total cases, 221 are still active and 283 are recovered cases.
From 51 samples tested through rapid antigen tests, three persons � two from Aizawl district and one from Serchhip district � were confirmed positive, an official release stated.
The two cases of Aizawl district include a 25-year-old Assam Rifles jawan who had returned from Jammu and Kashmir and a 21-year-old woman who had returned from Assam.
The lone fresh case from Serchhip district is a 37-year-old Assam Regiment personnel who came home on leave from Assam, it said.
Meanwhile, all the 34 samples tested at the Zoram Medical College were confirmed negative.
