JORHAT, March 3: Golaghat police has arrested three more persons in connection with the hooch deaths case.
A police source said that among those arrested was Abdul Kasim, who allegedly sold over 50 litres of methanol - whose toxicity is very high in the human body - to persons involved in producing illicit liquor that led to the tragic incident.
Since the past one week, altogether 37 people (including the three) have been arrested in connection with the hooch incident.
