GUWAHATI, Feb 22 � The three Maoist rebels who were arrested from Orissa- Jharkhand border few days back were brought to Guwahati by the sleuths of special task force of Assam Police last evening and are expected to be produced in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup tomorrow.
The trio identified as Aditya Bora, Singh Raj Orang and Ashik Sabar hails from Assam.
Defence lawyer Nekibur Zaman informed that as the accused were not produced till 5:30 pm, an hour after the expiry of court hours, they have moved a petition with the Court pleading that the accused should be allowed to get legal assistance as an when they are produced.
Family members of all the three accused turned up at the Court today.
