DIMAPUR, Sept 14 - Police apprehended three persons while they were extorting money from sand-laden vehicles in the New Field check gate area here today. Those arrested are Ahuka Ayemi of Sukimi village in Kiphire district who presently lives at Nagaland Gate here; Vihokhe Yeptho of Khatara village under Suruhuto subdivision in Zunheboto district and a present resident of Thilixu village here; and Aloboto Sumi of Awotsakiti under Atoizu Police Station in Zunheboto district and a present resident of Notun Bosti here. Cash amounting to Rs 14,630 was seized from them.
