PATACHARKUCHI, April 14 - In a major breakthrough, police arrested three persons alleged to be members of the notorious Irani gang from Pathsala town recently.
The trio, it may be mentioned, were involved with incidents of frequent money snatching cases from the local residents, besides dacoity in the locality.
Those arrested were Jhujnu Gowala (45), and Dipak Sing (44) of Jhanjipara, under Raiganj PS of Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal and Chintu Kumar (26) of Bihar.
Police also recovered some material from their possession which were allegedly used by the miscreants during their anti-social activities, besides ATM cards and mobile handsets.
