NAGAON, Aug 1 - Based on a tip off, Nagaon Haiborgaon Outpost police led by in-charge of the outpost, SI A Rahman arrested three notorious drug peddlers from Haiborgaon bazaar. Police subsequently seized a large quantities of drugs and other narcotics from their possession and seized a Maruti car with registration number AS-02-T-2388 on spot.
According to sources, the arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Mirza Hussain (28), Irshad Hussain (31) of Fouzdaripatty and Priyam Majumder (25) of Panigaon Chariali.
Sources claimed that based on an intelligence inputs Haiborgaon police with three police vehicles chased the drug peddlers from Dhaccapatty area and police were able to gherao them near Nagaon Haiborgaon bazaar, where police finally apprehended all of them.
