GUWAHATI, Nov 21 - The MSME Export Promotion Council is organising an international summit and expo on �Start Up and Stand Up� from January 17 to 19 here. The event will be held in support of the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

According to a statement, numbers of Union ministers and other dignitaries along with businessmen will take part in the event. Moreover, the organiser expected participation of nearly 300 delegates in the programme.

�The expo will be highly beneficial for existing and potential entrepreneurs where the focus sectors identified for Start Up and Stand Up, inter alia, include tea, coffee, agri and food processing, horticulture, organic farming, ayush and health wellness, biotech and bio plants, innovation, IT and electronic, petroleum industry, cultural and tourism, textile and handloom, tribal women livelihood, etc.,� a statement said.
