GUWAHATI, March 16 - A three-day Shree Shyam Jayanti Utsav, also known as Fagun Utsav, began today under the aegis of Shree Shyam Satsang Mandal, Guwahati at Sadhana Mandir, Fancy Bazar.
The Satsang Mandal, which is celebrating its golden jubilee this year, has chalked out elaborate plans to celebrate the occasion dedicated to Lord Krishna.
The programmes include mandap decoration, bhajan evening and distribution of prasad.
The three-day event will include �nritya naatika� by renowned lectors and artistes from Kolkata, presentation of devotional songs and a procession starting from MS Road, said Sanjay Agarwal and Ram Avtar Sharma of the Satsang Mandal.
