ITANAGAR, Oct 17 - Tawang Police have arrested three burglars and recovered a large number of stolen goods from them. The arrested are Passang Rai, Dawa Rai and Nima Rai � all siblings � who were staying at Lechheme Rong near Buddung Teng (Kargil Colony) in Tawang.
Police said investigation was conducted after residents of Buddung Teng registered complaints regarding burglary and attempts of burglary. Acting on specific inputs, the police first conducted a raid on a house at Lechheme Rong where Passang Rai and his brothers were staying on rent. Rai was apprehended along with stolen goods and housebreaking implements. Though, his two brothers and accomplices � Dawa Rai and Nima Rai � managed to slip away, the police arrested the duo this morning and recovered more housebreaking equipment from them.
With their arrest, the police claimed to have solved four burglary cases registered at the Tawang Police Station. The police teams involved in the massive search operations and nabbing of the burglars will be rewarded suitably, stated the Tawang SP.
