3 Bangladeshis held

HAILAKANDI, Sept 18 - Thee Bangaldeshi nationals detained by the police at Lala in Hailakandi district on Sunday for violation of the Indian Passport Act, 1967 have been sent for three days police remand for interrogation by the court.

Superintendent of Police, Mohneesh Mishra said they (Bangladeshi) had valid passports with tourist visa but violated the Passport Act by carrying out trade and business activities.

�The Bangladeshi nationals came on a tourist visa but committed offence under the Passport Act by indulging in business activities which they cannot do so,� said Mishra.

The Bangladeshi citizens are Mohammed Hafiz Molla, Ayar Ali and Mohammed Bablu Molla from Bhulbari village of Gopalganj district.
