2nd Div I-League at Silchar

SILCHAR, March 20 � The 2nd Division I-League Football Championship will be held at the SM Dev Stadium here from March 23 to 31.

Addressing a press conference here today, the Silchar District Sports Association secretary Babul Hore said altogether five teams-United Sikkim, Bhawanipore FC, Kalighat Milan Sangha (both from Kolkata), Hindustan FC (Mumbai and royal Wahingdoh (Shillong) will contest for the top slot.

In the opening match United Sikkim will play against Royal Wahingdoh while Kalighat will play against Bhawanipore in the second match of the day.

The Silchar District Sports Association is organising an exhibition match between Shillong Lajong FC and Mohun Bagan AC on May 1.
