SILCHAR, July 21: Based on secret inputs, the Cachar Police seized as many as 28 trucks loaded with fertilisers from ISBT Silchar and detained three drivers in this connection.
"Following secret inputs, we reached the ISBT on Friday night and found 28 trucks carrying fertiliser consignents standing in a queue. On further search, we apprehended three drivers who could not produce legitimate documents relating to the consignment. Accordingly, a case has been registered at the Sadar Police Station and we are investigating the case," Additional SP Cachar Jagadish Das told The Assam Tribune on Saturday.
