SILCHAR, July 21 - Based on secret inputs, Cachar Police seized as many as 28 trucks loaded with fertilizer from ISBT Silchar and detained three drivers.
�Following secret inputs, we reached the ISBT on Friday night and found 28 trucks carrying fertilizer standing in a queue. On further search, we apprehended three drivers who could not produce legitimate documents supporting their consignments.�
Accordingly, a case was registered at the Sadar Police Station and we are investigating the case,� Additional Superintendent of Police, Cachar, Jagadish Das told The Assam Tribune on Saturday.
