AIZAWL, Dec 20 - Mizoram reported 28 new cases during the last two days, taking the State�s tally to 4,122 today.
Twelve new cases were detected from 891 samples tested during the last 24 hours in the State.
Of these 12 cases, seven were reported from Lunglei district, three from Kolasib, and one each from Aizawl and Saitual districts.
All the new patients are returnees from other States.
Mizoram on Saturday reported 16 cases. Of these cases, 10 were reported from Aizawl district, two each from Lunglei and Champhai districts, and one each from Hnahthial and Lawngtlai districts.
Six of the new patients have recent travel history.
As of today, there are 158 active cases in the State while 3,957 people have recovered from the disease. The State has reported seven COVID-19 fatalities so far.
