AIZAWL, Oct 20 - Mizoram today reported 27 fresh infections of COVID-19, taking the State�s virus count to 2,280.
Of the new cases, 20 cases were reported from Aizawl, two each from Lawngtlai and Serchhip, and one each from Champhai, Kolasib and Mamit districts, an official release stated.
While 25 new patients, including 20 in Aizawl, were locally infected, two others had returned from Assam and Tripura.
Mizoram now has 129 active cases, while 2,151 people have recovered from the disease so far. The State has not reported any virus fatality till date.
