IMPHAL, Oct 5 - One more death and 250 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported in the past 24 hours in Manipur, State Health Department sources informed today. �In the last 24 hours, one male aged 60 years from Imphal West expired at JNIMS,� Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang, additional director and spokesperson of the Health Department said in a press release today. �The cumulative number of deaths is 75.� The State reported its first death due to COVID-19 on July 29, while the first COVID-19 positive case was on March 24. In the past 24 hours, 192 persons from the general population and 58 personnel from the Central Armed Police Force were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases, the release said. The new COVID-19 positive cases were confirmed at 15 testing facilities in the state.
