TIHU, Sept 18 - IRBn Saraimari entered the final of the Tarun Dutta, Satish Haloi and Madan Sarma Memorial Football Tournament.
In the first semifinal of the championship played today at the Makhibaha High School playground, the cops trounced GATSA of Goreswar 3-1.
Mykel Khasia scored twice with goals in the 46th and 75th minutes respectively while Swomoy Narzary added one in the 79th minute. Abinash Baro of GATSA reduced the margin. Earlier, the match was inaugurated by Dhaneswar Barman, manager, SBI Makhibaha Branch.
In the second semifinal tomorrow, Maharana AC of Guwahati will square off against Hayna Club of Subankhata.
