ITANAGAR, Dec 10 - The Arunachal Pradesh COVID-19 tally climbed to 16,461 as 24 more people tested positive on Wednesday, a bulletin issued by the State Directorate of Health Services stated here.
Changlang reported 15 of the new cases, Itanagar Capital Complex five, and West Kameng and East Siang registered two cases each. The infected include one military personnel who was confirmed positive for COVID-19 at the Military Hospital at Dahung in West Kameng district and an NDRF jawan from Itanagar.
On the other hand, seven patients were discharged during the day following their recovery. The total cured cases have now reached 15,697. The State�s active cases stand at 709, while the death toll is 55. � Correspondent
