IMPHAL, Oct 11 -�Manipur reported 234 new COVID 19 positive cases including 12 central armed police force (CAPF) personnel, taking the infection tally to 13,326.
In the past 24 hours, 222 persons from general population and 12 personnel from CAPF were detected�COVID-19�positive . The new COVID-19 positive cases were confirmed at�21�testing facilities in the state.
The positive cases from the general population are from 13 districts of the state.
In the past 24 hours, 198 persons were discharged from 16�COVID�care facilities after their recovery.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 13,326 while the numbers of active and recovered cases are 2,731 and 10,504 respectively. The recovery rate is 78.82 per cent.
Meanwhile, the public have been advised to self-isolate and contact�COVID�control room or chief medical officers for testing if anyone had contacted with positive persons.
