KOKRAJHAR, March 27 - Sajal Singha, an Independent candidate for the Gossaigaon Assembly constituency withdrew his nomination papers on Saturday, for the polls to be held on April 11.
In Kokrajhar Election district, 23 candidates remain in the fray, out of which six are females and 17 males in the three constituencies (Kokrajhar East, Kokrajhar West & Gossaigaon) after the last day of withdrawal of nominations on Saturday.
It may be mentioned here that out of 23 candidates in Kokrajhar district, six are in the fray from Kokrajhar East, 10 from Kokrajhar West and seven from Gossaigaon.
