GUWAHATI, April 7 - Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) zone arrested 23 people on charges of committing theft of passengers� belongings during the period from January to March this year.
The arrested people include those who used to drug train passengers and loot their belongings, said Pranav Jyoti Sharma, chief public relations officer (CPRO) of NF Railway.
He said that during the whole year of 2018, Railway Protection Force personnel of NF Railway had arrested 118 criminals on charges of drugging and theft of passengers� belongings in the areas falling under the zone.
