IMPHAL, Jan 19 � Suspected militants have kidnapped two persons including a driver and a labourer from Kanglatongbi area in Manipur�s Senapati district on Saturday, reports said.
The incident took place around 9 pm yesterday. The two persons have been identified as Thongam Santa and driver Maibam Tomba. Sources said they were kidnapped from a worksite at Kanglatongbi.
Meanwhile, the four abducted persons � Sarangthem Ingo , a Muhori of PWD and his colleague Angom Patel and bulldozer drivers Laishram and Bijesh were released near a stone crushing site at Khonghampat under Sekmai police station. They have reportedly reached their homes safely later last evening. The four persons were abducted on January 11 this year.
