HAILAKANDI, June 19 - Two persons � Jakir Hussain Mazumdar and Parul Hussain � who were in institutional quarantine at Government VMHS School here jumped quarantine at around 10.15 am today. They visited three shops at Old Hospital Point to buy garments, cigarettes and toiletries.
As they were about to enter the barricaded school building through which they escaped, they were caught by the police and security personnel on duty. The boys confessed that they had broken the grilled window and the lock to go outside.
Chiranjib Singha, in-charge of the quarantine centre, disclosed that he had filed an FIR at the Hailakandi Sadar Police Station against the persons for putting everyone�s life in danger.
Hailakandi Sadar Police Station officer-in-charge Pranab Kumar Saikia informed that a case was registered against the persons.
