2 officers of NF Railway in Maligaon test positive for COVID-19

GUWAHATI, June 22: Two officers of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) headquarters, Maligaon, have tested positive for COVID-19.

Aneet Dulat, Principal Chief Commercial Manager of NFR, and Ajit Baishya, Office Superintendent (Mechanical department) of NFR HQ, have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Dulat�s younger son, who is a minor, has also tested positive for COVID-19.

�Their test results yesterday as positive. Baishya has been admitted to the Government Ayurvedic and Hospital, Jalukbari, while Dulat and his son have been shifted to the GMCH. Their conditions are stable,� said Nripen Bhattacharya, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of NFR.

He said that NFR authorities will abide by State government rules and regulations regarding the future course of action.

�The offices of the Chief Commercial Manager and that of the Mechanical department have been sealed and sanitized. The residential quarters of Dulat and Baishya have also been declared as containment zones,� said Bhattacharya.
