DIMAPUR, Oct 29 - Security forces apprehended two cadres of the NSCN (I-M) near Chumukedima here on October 27, a Defence press release stated today.
Based on specific inputs, the security forces, along with the police, launched an operation and apprehended the two cadres from the area, the release said. One 7.65 mm carbine with magazine, one .32 mm pistol with 12 rounds of live ammunition, 10 rounds of 12 bore, one Baofeng Motorola set, one gold bar of 166 gm valued at Rs 8.75 lakh and Rs 6.32 lakh in cash were recovered from them.
The arrested cadres, along with the recovered items, were handed over to Chumukedima Police, the release added.
