2 more test positive at Jorhat

JORHAT, June 4 - Two more persons tested positive for Covid-19 as results of the test done at JMCH came out this evening.

Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Roshni A Korati informed that Satya Ranjan Phukan (27yrs/male) of Jorhat and Porineeta Das (19yrs/female) of Jorhat, both of them returnees from Pune, Maharashtra, tested positive today.

She said that both the persons were asymptomatic and have been shifted to JMCH. The Deputy Commissioner further stated that total number of positive cases in Jorhat now is 25, out of which 19 were active.

Korati stated that at present 51 positive patients of Golaghat � eight of Sivasagar, three from Tinsukia and one from Majuli � were undergoing treatment at JMCH. The total number of active cases in JMCH was 82 now and total recovered was 21, she added.
