IMPHAL, Jan 21 - Two minor boys were killed while three others including two girls sustained injuries when a hand grenade exploded in a hill village in Manipur on Sunday.
The incident happened after the children found a live hand grenade in Sabunglong (Leisok) village in Noney district at around 9.30 am, sources said.
One boy died on the spot while another succumbed to injuries on way to RIMS hospital in Imphal, the sources added. The other three injured children are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
A case has been registered under Khoupum Police station and investigation is on.
