TURA, April 30 - Two minor girls were today rescued from near Garobadha in the Garo Hills by villagers. Police sources that the two girls were taken to a secluded spot near Pipulbari village in West Garo Hills district, about 15 km from Garobadha, on a motorcycle by their cousin.
The girls raised an alarm when they saw a few men approaching them from the nearby jungles after their cousin left them in the area. On hearing them, villagers immediately came to their help. The 15-year-old cousin of the two girls was also nabbed by the villagers who later informed the police.
