ITANAGAR, June 16 - Arunachal Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 26 grams of brown sugar from their possession in Lohit district.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team intercepted a motorcycle at Tebang bridge. During the checking, police recovered six small plastic pouches containing powdery substances, suspected to be brown sugar, weighing about 26 grams, from the possession of the rider and pillion rider and seized the contraband.
A case under section 21(b) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered and investigation started.
