GUWAHATI, March 22 - Holi, the festival of colours and camaraderie will be celebrated on March 23 and 24 in the State along with the rest of the country.
Holi enthusiasts have been busy making brisk preparations to celebrate the festival in a grand manner across the State. In Guwahati too, markets are completely immersed in the colours and the spirit of Holi. Makeshift kiosks selling Holi colours, spray guns, and several other Holi items are a common sight across Guwahati.
Wishing people on the occasion of the festival, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said that Holi has been strengthening the mutual bonding among the people, that does away with all their differences.
APCC president Anjan Dutta has extended his greetings on the occasion of Holi and Daula Utsav to the people of the State.
