UDALGURI, March 28 - The District Election Officer here has served notices to two Independent candidates, namely, Anjali Prava Daimari and Santosh Madahi of 69-Udalguri LAC (ST) yesterday for violation of Model Code of Conduct. A press release in this regard was issued by the District Information and Public Relation Officer, Udalguri. The press release also said that the ECI Expenditure Observer had been inspecting day-to-day accounts of candidates of three LACs under Udalguri district. Commissioning of EVMs has been completed in presence of General Observer B Srinivas, contesting candidates or their representatives. Sensitisation regarding NOTA and how to vote in EVMs is going on.
