2 aerobridges opened at LGBI Airport

JALUKBARI, Jan 1 - Flying through the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in the new year will be a pleasant experience for the passengers with the addition of two more aerobridges at the airport today.

One of the aerobridges was opened by a divyang child passenger and the other by a woman passenger in the presence of DK Kamra, Regional Executive Director, Airports Authority of India.

With this, congestion at LGBI Airport will be further reduced. It is also expected to smoothen the arrival and departure of the aircraft as well as the passengers. The airport has a total of four operational aerobridges.

Ramesh Kumar, Airport Director, Guwahati, senior AAI officials, security officials, airlines representatives and CISF officials were present on the occasion.
