192 Bangladeshis untraced in Karimganj district

BADARPUR, April 10 - In all, 192 Bangladeshi nationals who entered India at different times through the Indo-Bangla border in Karimganj district are still untraced, official sources told ANN Service.

Sources also informed that from 2001 to 2016, these 192 Bangladeshi nationals had entered India through two immigration centres of Karimganj district � Suterkandi Checkpost and Karimganj Police Checkpost. They entered India with legal passports and visa, according to official information.

Among the 192 Bangladeshi nationals, 121 entered through Karimganj Police Checkpost and the remaining 71 through Suterkandi Checkpost. But they have not returned back to Bangladesh. The Karimganj SI Gaurav Upadhyaya has informed that he has already sent strict instructions to all the police stations of Karimganj district to investigate the entire matter in order to trace out these people.
