GANGTOK, Aug 12 - Police have arrested an 18-year-old boy in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old girl near Tikjek under the Geyzing subdivision of Sikkim last evening.
The accused was picked up from his residence last night.
The girl was stabbed to death while she was returning home from Geyzing Bazaar after applying online for admission to a college.
She succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital. According to the police, the investigation is on, and that the deceased knew the alleged assailant as they studied in the same school at Gangtok.
