SILCHAR, Feb 20 - In all, 18 examiness who were caught for cheating during the ongoing HSLC examination were expelled in Cachar district on the second day here today.
According to sources, five candidates, each from RB Roy High School of Kachudaram and Judhistir Saha Secondary School of Bihara, four studebts from Nehru High School of Lakhipur sub-division and 2 students from Siddeshwar High School of Katigorah were expelled. Two other students who have been expelled belong to Srikona High School and Janakalyan High School of the district.
Interestingly, as many as 375 students of the district did not turn up to appear in the Mathematics examination.
