JORHAT, July 21 - One hundred sixty-five Covid-19 positive cases were found in Jorhat district today thereby raising the total number of positive cases in the district to 1064.
Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Roshni A Korati informed on Tuesday evening that all 165 cases did not have travel history and 28 among them were from Jorhat town.
The number of active cases in the district was 701, the Deputy Commissioner stated.
Actress positive: Actress Geetabali Rajkumari and her daughter were among those who were found positive in Rapid Antigen Test today, a relative confirmed to this newspaper.
The relative also said that Geetabali�s elder sister Dr Subhalaxmi Rajkumari, who is the Jorhat Inspector of Schools, along with her husband and a daughter, too tested positive on Monday.
