GUWAHATI, Sept 25 � Sixteen child scientists in eight groups of Kamrup (Metro) district have been selected for the State level National Children�s Science Congress, 2010 to be held at Silchar from October 27 to 30.
The child scientists who made it to the coveted list include Barnadhya Hazarika and Anuranan Kr Kazi of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Abhinav Sankar Goswami and Madhurya P Barman of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Pranat Kashyap and Trinayan Das of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Mrinal Kumar and Prachurya Mahanta of Axom Jatiya Bidyalaya, Suryakamal Sarma and Manabendra Das of Axom Jatiya Bidyalaya, Papari Choudhury and Himashmita Kakati of North Guwahati Girls High School, Nupur Choudhury and Siddharth Roy of KK Memorial English High School, and Dhanmani Deka and Kaushik Talukdar of New Guwahati Adarsha Vidyalaya.
All the students completed projects related to scientific use of land, a press release stated.
