SHILLONG, July 28 - Altogether 136 recruits of the 321st batch of the Assam Regimental Centre were today attested into the Indian Army at the attestation parade at Parsons Parade Ground here.
The parade was reviewed by Brigadier RK Gaikwad, Commandant, Assam Regimental Centre. In his address to the attested soldiers, Brigadier Gaikwad recounted the contributions of the North East and Assam Regiment towards nation building.
Complimenting the passing out batch for their immaculate standards, he urged the inductees from the North East to persevere in pursuit of excellence.
