DHUBRI, May 3 - A 13-year-old boy from Jhagrarpar Pt-III village near Dhubri town who was already in a quarantine facility as his father was found to be COVID-19 positive, was transferred to the Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati today on suspicion of carrying the highly contagious virus.
District administration sources said that the 13-year-old boy tested COVID-19 positive for the third time though results of the third test was doubtful following which he was sent to Guwahati for advanced treatment.
It may be mentioned that the father of the 13-year-old boy, Hazrat Ali was found to be COVID-19 positive on April 13.
Fortunately, he has recovered and was under observation in Dhubri. Ali, it may be mentioned, has a travel history of visiting New Delhi.
