13 women nature activists reach Nalbari on bicycles

NALBARI, Aug 20 - Thirteen women activists of �Manas Cyclees�, a nature loving organisation of Baksa and Kamrup (Rural) districts, arrived today in Nalbari district for creating awareness on conservation of nature.

The activists, mostly young girls, started their journey for the cause of nature in bicycles.

They set their mission to Bhutan through Kamrup, Nalbari, Baksa, Barpeta and Bongaigaon districts.

They will plant saplings at various places on their journey.

The young nature lovers called upon the people to save the nature for our better future.

They aso requested the elders to use bicycles in case of short journeys for a pollution-free environment.

They were also felicitated at various places during their journey.
